DESCRIPTION
Operation of presses in various degrees of size and complexity in order to obtain maximum production according to established quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Ensures that production goals are met.
* Monitor Quality
* Ensures all machine set-ups are done correctly
* Directs or assists in directing the crew.
* Obtains and maintains register during the make-ready and productions processes.
* Assists in changing required plates, blankets or cylinders.
* Assists in lining up ribbons, setting fold, adjusting roll mechanisms, tension and guide devices.
* Assists with training of new crewmembers.
* Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
* Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
* It is the responsibility of all Solution Delivery employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Previous experience in pre print with wide web flexo preferred. Some experience in the operation of various hand tools including line gauge, loupe, plate wrench, blanket wrench, brush gauge, ink knife, chisel and punch preferred.
