DESCRIPTION
* Keeping plant machinery and equipment in good condition by locating faulty parts through self discipline troubleshooting process, replacing worn and broken parts and making proper adjustments.
* Making routine checks and inspections through a maintenance work order system to determine operating condition of equipment and performing proper repair and service of equipment.
* Maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, components fixtures, and programmable logic functions. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
* Assembling and installing various types of electrical equipment, working from blueprints or sketches; installing and moving plant machinery.
* Understand and use supporting job related tools of the trade and processes including in-house spare part inventory system and in-house computer systems.
* Perform all duties as an accredited electrician and miscellaneous tasks identified by the direct supervisor.
* Ensures a safe work environment by wearing required PPE. Also by participating and completing any required safety related courses or training.
