DESCRIPTION

Position Description

The incumbent will be responsible for the development and delivery of technology training to support a large-scale, global technology deployment across the Firm. The deployment centers on Window7 and Office10 technologies as well as other proprietary applications and systems that are used across the Firm or in tandem with Microsoft technology. Training content includes application usage, workflows and best practices that maintain or improve employee productivity throughout the upcoming technology migration.

A verifiable record of advanced level competency all Office10 suite applications (primarily Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) is a must, and experience delivering training on enterprise applications, such as travel and expense systems, is required. Demonstrated success in applying adult learning principles to design eLearning, reference materials and classroom training for time-challenged business professional is also required. Finally, polished written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery of Technical Training and Coaching

* Deliver applications training in structured group settings and in individual one-to-one coaching setting.
* Execute best practices for ensuring excellence in instructor training and performance.
* Provide coaching support during the technologies’ pilot deployment phase

Courseware Development

* Create and revise learning materials. This includes classroom and online materials as well as internal communications and marketing materials.
* Assist in course development draft reviews.
* Work closely with other departments in the Firm to continuously improve the effectiveness of the training projects. This includes gathering technical information, conducting training needs assessments and assisting other team members to improve training content and delivery.

Communication

* Act as a communications conduit between end users and technologists, providing actionable feedback and recommendations to technologists to improve product quality or user experience

* Interact effectively with department management, various technology and client teams.
* Participate in cross-functional meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
* Act as point of contact within the assigned product teams or business unit to rapidly resolve client productivity and satisfaction problems through training, coaching or other appropriate means.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Job Qualifications

Education Experience

* 3+ years related experience and bachelor's degree with concentration in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Education, Instructional Design or 5+ years of experience in a related field and holds applicable technical certification(s)

Experience

* Advanced verbal and written communication skills
* Experience teaching and coaching advanced level Microsoft technology in a professional environment
* Experience working in the financial industry preferred
* Demonstrated ability to apply adult learning principals
* Advanced organizational and time management skills
* Ability to make recommendations based on data analysis
* Experience training or working with CRM applications
* Experience developing and working with eLearning, social learning and mobile learning
* Experience working on global and matrixed teams
* Operates effectively in a highly pressurized work environment
