Job Responsibilities
As a maintenance mechanic for RR Donnelley you will be expected to have strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment. Perform mechanical inspections, repairs, and maintenance on all machinery and equipment. You will need an understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, print/bind/preliminary equipment and machine shop tools.
Minimum Requirements:
* Trade school certificates in related discipline (Mechanical or Electrical) a plus.
* 2-5 years experience if facility repairs to include equipment P.M’s.
* 2-5 years experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
* Able to express electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technician work assignments.
* Must be a team player who can work in a fast paced environment.
* Able to communicate accurately, concisely, and professionally at all times.
* Metal fabricating and welding (mig or stick) a must.
* Must be willing to work overtime.
Preferred but not required:
* Prior web press experience
* Experience with PLC’s and drives a plus
