DESCRIPTION
The Inserter Operator operates and maintains the inserter equipment by using job specifications to produce a finished, mailable product.
There are FIVE positions available on PM shifts.
This position operates the inserter by loading the imaged forms into the feeder to produce a finished, mail ready product
* Prepares the inserter bay using tools and job specifications to provide proper set-up and to eliminate possible run-time errors
* Inspects the finished product by verifying the correct construction and components to ensure that mailability and quality standards are met.
* Evaluates imaged forms by ensuring that the bar code is correct to prevent machine error from occurring
* Other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Must have good eye-hand coordination
* Strong mechanical aptitude required
* Manufacturing and/or print related experience preferred
* Lifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hours
* Walking/standing, 6-7 hours
* Bending/stooping, 2-3 hours
